About the game
Drill to the Core starts you off with a single drill and a long way down. Every meter you dig turns into ore, the ore turns into coins, and the coins go right back into a stronger, faster drill with more room for cargo.
Between the surface and the core lie ten layers, and each one brings tougher rock. Managers keep a stratum producing without you, and breaking the Core Mantle lets you Relocate to a fresh planet with permanent Core bonuses. The drill keeps working when the tab is closed, which makes it a natural fit for idle game fans.
How to play
- Click or tap the drill to dig by hand in the early game
- Spend coins on drill power, speed and cargo upgrades
- Sell ore to fund upgrades and note which stratum pays best
- Hire managers so each stratum keeps producing on its own
- Reach the Core Mantle, then Relocate for permanent bonuses; progress continues offline
